fantastic canal-side stay
central location helpful staff secure bag storage dinner recommendation
the hotel is centrally located. the front desk staff helped arrange taxis. they also held our bags securely. i got very good recommendations for dinner nearby.
The bar and lounge seemed a bit uninspired. It could use a little revitalization.

The hotel provided a complimentary tour to the murano glass factory. we watched a demonstration. It was excellent!!! the hotel even hosted a fun party one evening during carnival.

The hotel boasts a great location. everything is within walking distance. That's amazing. it has direct water taxi access from both the airport and the train station.

I found the buffet breakfast offered an extensive menu. It was good value for the money. i received complimentary prosecco, chianti, and water. That was a nice touch.

noisy air conditioning outdated bathroom
The air conditioning seemed ancient, it was quite noisy. the bathroom really needed a complete overhaul. It looked pretty outdated and shabby. paint on the doors and skirting boards was scuffed. the bathroom door stuck! and the old shower curtain meant the floor got dangerously wet around the toilet. It was a bit of a hazard.

i was upgraded to a double room. it featured a lovely canal view. the room provided ample space and elegant decor. the staff and service stood out significantly. everyone behaved politely and graciously. each person went out of their way to assist me.

great location lovely decor friendly receptionist same noise short vacation
the location WAS fantastic! It was close to all attractions. The decor was lovely and very clean. Receptionists were very helpful and friendly.
I booked a beautiful room. The hotel moved us to a room directly below our original one. It had the exact same view and noise issues. The entire process consumed valuable hours of what was already a short vacation

mixed experience, some issues
dated bathroom unfriendly staff
the location was acceptable for exploring popular areas.
the room i booked was not the best it needed some maintenance work. the bathroom was dated and the shower curtain allowed water to get everywhere. also, the reception staff seemed somewhat unfriendly, not cute.

smooth reception perfect position clean room
check in at reception was really smooth and polite. The position is perfect, so CENTRALLY located. My room was immaculate, super clean and newly decorated.
the elevator can be a bit SLOW sometimes.

fantastic canal-side stay
lovely bar great location
the team switched our room because the first one was too hot. the rooftop bar provided a lovely escape from the busy streets. it became a nice place for sunset views. the location was great and close to major spots.
the lack of heating made things uncomfortable. the temperature dropped below 10 degrees at night, but the heating system was off. they provided a fan heater, but it was too noisy to sleep with.

the rooms included stocked mini-fridges, safes, and flat-screen smart tvs. bathrooms featured tubs. fresh flowers in the bathroom added a nice touch. the canal view rooms provided a picturesque experience.
